Loving all the reds and browns of this season’s Autumn fashion that’s out and about now. Lots of big and baggy oversized jumpers really fits the cosy feel of autumnal comfort, that I adore, and I am so pleased to see that scarves are still trending, they are a staple in my wardrobe…. I love them, and the cooler days of Autumn brings lots of opportunities to add them in everyday, in lots of different ways.

Longer length, midi length, skirts are available and I used to love that length when I was younger, especially with boots. Now, I’m not so sure they are for me anymore, being only 5′ 2″ and now carrying a little more weight than in my youth leads me to think I should remain as an admirer of that particular style, rather than a wearer.

I may be a little older now, but I love to feel elegant; and if I feel good, I feel confident. I think that’s an important element of fashion, and our personal style, its about how we want to feel, not just how we want to look….We have to feel good about ourselves, and in our clothes… Trends are fine, but style is personal.

“Elegance is a statement, an attitude. Elegant women are women of character with confidence.”  Elie Saab

Autumn allows us to bring cosy comfort into our wardrobes, clothes that give us a hug from our hearts every time we wear them… They are a kiss and cuddle from ourselves. Luscious comfort fabrics that feel soft and snuggly, with beautiful colours that warm our hearts and our souls.

Autumn is such a wonderful, yet powerful season, when changes flow with beauty and ease, and colours warm as the weather cools, and our thoughts turn to cosy evenings and hot chocolate, crisp and crunchy leaves underfoot, and loving comfort by the fireside. Throws and cushions appear in abundance to help ease in our cosy moods. Our homes too are adorned with fashionable style, creating warmth and ambiance to compliment our move towards comfy layers and warm accessories.
